Junior Infant Enrolment Application process for September 2025


Parents and Guardians,

The application window for Junior Infant enrolment for September 2025 is now closed. Please see the timeline below in relation to places being offered and the dates for acceptance of places.

Junior Infants Enrolment Application Timeline for 2025-2026

Monday 18th November 2024: Opening of enrolment process.  

Wednesday 5th February 2025:
Closing date for applicants to enrol with applications to be made by 12 noon.

Wednesday 19th February 2025: Parents/Guardians to be informed in writing about offer of choice.

Friday 7th of March 2025: Final date for parents to accept offer and to register pupil with a cut off time of 12 noon.

Senior Infants to Sixth Class Enrolment



Please note that there are currently waiting lists in operation for enrolment to Senior Infant to Sixth Classes. The waiting lists for this current school year (2024/2025) will remain open until June 25 2025, after this date all waiting lists in relation to the school year 2024/2025 will no longer be active. For those wishing to apply for a school place for the next school year
(2025/2026) the waiting list will open on Thursday May 1st 2025 at 9am.

To obtain a place on the waiting list for the next school year (2025/2026) please follow the below steps.

1: An email must be sent to enrolment@stoliversprimary.ie containing the name of the child applying for a place and the class which they are applying for the next school year (2025/2026). A scanned copy of the child's birth certificate and proof of address within the parish of St. Peter's must be attached to the email.

2: Applications will only be accepted from 9am on Thursday May 1st. Applications will only be deemed valid once they include all of the information outlined in point 1 above. Incomplete emails will not be accepted as a valid application and a waiting list place will not be issued until all information is received.

3: Applications will be placed on a waiting list for the applicable class (Senior Infants - Sixth Class) as per the order of which the completed information is received as outlined above.

4: A response in relation to the receipt of your email application will be sent within 5 - 10 school days.
